Dimensity 1300 was officially introduced

MediaTek is no longer one of the processor manufacturers we look at through our fingers. They were brought back to prominence by the Dimensity line, which combined quality with a good price. That is why quite a few smartphone producers have recently reached for MediaTek chipsets. And there are those among whom we would not really expect. Let us mention, for example, Samsung, which reportedly wants to reach for MediaTek processors with the upcoming Galaxy S22 FE phone and quite possibly with the S23 flagship series. And OnePlus is also said to use the Dimensity 1300 processor on its mid-range phone, the Nord 2T .
It was this chipset that MediaTek officially introduced in silence. It is true that the Dimensity 8100 and 8000 processors already mentioned the Dimensity 1300, but it was basically just marginal information. So now the chipset is officially out there and on MediaTek we can read everything important about its equipment.
MAIN PARAMETERS OF THE DIMENSITY 1300 PROCESSOR
Probably the most important information is that it is a processor built on the 6nm TSMC production process. The chipset has eight cores grouped into two clusters. In the first there are four Cortex-A78 cores, one of which has a clock speed of 3 GHz and the other three run at a frequency of 2.6 GHz. In the second cluster there are four Cortex-A55 cores with a clock speed of 2 GHz. The cores were complemented by nine ARM Mali-G77 MC9 core graphics.
The Dimensity 1300 processor supports displays with a resolution of up to 2520 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 168 Hz. Also up to 16 GB LPDDR4x RAM with a maximum frequency of up to 4266 Mbps and internal UFS 3.1 storage. Thanks to the improved ISP chip, we find support for up to 200 MPix of the main camera sensor, hardware-accelerated AV1 decoding for faster 4K video streaming, and AI support for low-light shots by merging three real-time exposures. There is also support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. However, MediaTek did not state which of the smartphone manufacturers will take care of the real debut of Dimensity 1300. However, tipsters bet on OnePlus.
