iQOO Neo 6 on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen1
We have the end of March / March, when a lot of new smartphones were born. Tomorrow begins a new month and at the same time the second quarter of this year. Even in this period, we can look forward to a lot of news and everything will be started by Vivo. It has prepared several new phones and even one tablet for April / April . But even its sub-brand iQOO is not idle and is preparing a flagship phone iQOO Neo 6. Its performance is scheduled for April 13, so it is clear that the interest of tipsters in this machine is enormous.
A few days ago, we were able to see what the iQOO Neo 6 looks like. And we already know some of its specifications. Well, since there is a lot of speculation about the use of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, we will take a look at the test report from the benchmark platform Geekbench. The Neo 6 has recently passed these performance tests.
WHAT PARAMETERS DID THE IQOO NEO 6 REVEAL BY GEEKBENCH?
The Geekbench tests passed iQOO Neo 6 codenamed Vivo V2196A. From the report, we read that the phone was powered by eight eight-core Qualcomm processor with the designation "Taro" with a maximum clock frequency of 3.0 GHz. We can therefore boldly confirm previous guesses' estimates. Yes, Neo 6 really powers Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
During the tests, the chipset added 12 GB of RAM. However, according to guessers' estimates, a version with 8 GB of RAM will also be available. Let's add that the phone runs on the Android 12 operating system, which will be complemented on the Chinese market by the OriginOS Ocean superstructure. In the single-core test, iQOO Neo 6 scored a total of 1193 points and in the multi-core test, it scored a total of 3523 points.
Of the other parameters we know, we will point out, for example, those published by Tenaa. It is a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with FullHD + resolution. The refresh rate is reportedly 120 Hz. The battery is two-cell with a total capacity of 4700 mAh. Thanks to 3C certification, we know that it supports fast charging with a power of 80 W. The dimensions of the device are 163 × 76.16 × 8.5 mm.
