The Motorola Edge 30 has passed Geekbench tests
At the end of February / February , Motorola introduced the Moto Edge 30 Pro in global markets. It is a rebranded version of the Chinese Edge X30 model and, of course, outside of China, the phone has flagship parameters. However, the Edge series is not closed by this and we are counting on other models, similar to last year for the Edge 20 series . In addition to the Edge 20 Pro model, the manufacturer has also released the standard version of the Edge 20. And it looks like we will not lose the standard version from the Edge series this year either. The Motorola Edge 30 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark platform .
WHAT PARAMETERS DID THE MOTOROLA EDGE 30 REVEAL BY GEEKBENCH?
As we already know, the Geekbench test report shows only a limited number of parameters. These are mainly the type of processor, the capacity of the operating memory and the operating system on which the tested phone runs. This is no different with the Motorola Edge 30. So let's see what chipset phone was driving during testing. The statement states that the chipset has eight cores with a 1/3/4 architecture. The main core is clocked at 2.52 GHz, three cores run at 2.4 GHz and four cores have a clock speed of 1.8 GHz. The chipset includes Adreno 642L graphics. All this clearly points to the Snapdragon 778G Plus processor. Recall that last year's Edge 20 model is powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor.
Geekbench has passed the Motorola Edge 30 version with 8 GB of RAM. However, it is likely that it will also be marketed in other memory versions. And, of course, we must add that the phone runs on the Android 12 operating system. In the single-core test, this model gained 821 points and in the multi-core test, 2353 points. We won't really take more out of the test report. In any case, insider tipsters also point out that the Motorola Edge 30 is also TRDA, EEC and Wi-Fi Alliance certified, which may indicate that the launch is not far off.
However, we will not learn anything about the specifications from the above certifications either. So we can only believe that they will be similar or slightly higher than last year's Edge 20. It had a 6.7-inch OLED display with a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. The battery had a capacity of 4000 mAh and support 30 W charging. For example, for this parameter, the manufacturer could go a little higher. But it's hard to say whether even the photo equipment, because it was very decent. The main camera has 108 MPix, 8 MPix and 16 MPix sensors and the front camera has a resolution of 32 MPix. But let's leave the speculation and wait for what the manufacturer will publish.
