Xiaomi Civi 2 and its estimated parameters

We can undoubtedly add the Civi model from last year to the interesting Xiaomi phones . Its advantages are slim and attractive design and selfie orientation. You could simply say that the manufacturer targeted women because the phone is also relatively light. It seems to build on the CC phones that Xiaomi worked with Meitu in 2019. And, of course, the question is whether we will see the second generation of the Civi this year. Well-known tipper Digital Chat Station says yes. The Xiaomi Civi 2 is reportedly in preparation.

The tipster believes that the upcoming Xiaomi Civi 2 will be only slightly improved compared to its predecessor. Therefore, let us recall that last year's model had a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The front camera received a 32 MPix Samsung GD1 sensor with autofocus, double LED flash and skin smoothing mode. The main camera is triple with 64 MPix, 8 MPix and 2 MPix sensors. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 778G with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory. Well, the battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh and support 55 W charging.

And how will this year's Xiaomi Civi 2 be, if there are no drastic changes to the specifications? He is said to have a slim and light body again. The display is also said to be the same, although the diagonal did not state its diagonal. The resolution and function of the front camera, ie 32 MPix, are the same. And the primary sensor of the main camera should also have 64 MPix. And even charging is just as fast, which again has a power of 55 W.

So where did Xiaomi make that improvement? It is simple. Instead of the original Snapdragon 778G processor, the manufacturer used a higher version, the Snapdragon 778G Plus. The tipper did not mention the capacity of the operational memory or internal storage. He added, however, that the phone will run on Android 12 with the MIUI 13 extension. The planned phone is basically the same, but thanks to the processor replacement, it can have higher performance both within the CPU and within the GPU. And when will we see Xiaomi Civi 2? That, too, is a question so far. If the manufacturer meets the same deadline as last year, it could be sometime after the summer holidays.
