Redmi K50 Gaming Edition Officially Announced

As the name suggests, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is a gaming phone, so just like the pair of hardware "trigger" buttons on the right side of the device. And, of course, a digging cooling system with huge dimensions and a dual VC chamber. Or the promised new generation of haptic Xiaomi CyberEngine response and well-tuned stereo speakers from JBL. There will also be a stylish metal body with a glass back and the new Redmi will definitely not offend.

The panel is 10-bit colored and is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus protective glass. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will take care of the performance with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal UFS3.1 memory. The battery with a capacity of 4700 mAh and especially lightning-fast 120W charging was not neglected either. According to the company, the phone charges in 17 minutes or 37 minutes while playing a demanding game. We also get Wi-Fi 6E, an NFC chip or an MIUI 13 system based on Android 12. The cameras also don't get offended with a 64 Mpx + 8 Mpx ultra-wide + 2 Mpx telemacro set at the back and a 20 Mpx selfie sensor from Sony IMX596.

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will go on sale in China the day after tomorrow, and we will have to wait for information on international availability. The basic 8GB + 128GB version comes in at an excellent $ 520, 12GB + 128GB at $ 567 and the highest 12GB + 256GB at $ 615. The phones will be available in blue, silver and black. Well, the limited Mercedes AMG F1 with 12GB + 256GB of memory then comes to $ 662.
