Motorola is set to launch the Edge on February 24

Today we have already looked at the launch dates of the Redmi K50 Gaming and Red Magic 7. However, another flagship model is also waiting to be launched. It comes from Motorola workshops and last year it shone on the Chinese market as the first phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. Yes, we are talking about the Moto Edge X30. This year, it will travel to global markets called Moto Edge 30 Pro and, according to the guesses, its global presentation will take place later this month.

Needless to say, the tipsters' estimates were correct. Motorola has confirmed in its official Twitter account that it is planning an event on February 24 / February. We won't know exactly what Motorola intends to say from the announcement, except perhaps that it will be an Edge phone. It is therefore obvious that the Edge 30 Pro will be launched globally.

We already know about the global version of the Edge 30 Pro that it's basically exactly the same as the Chinese version, and it's just a name. On the contrary, the design has not changed at all, but one small change can still occur. The tippers estimate that the manufacturer will move the fingerprint sensor from the edge of the device under its display. It is 6.7 inches and is an OLED type with FullHD + resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a sampling frequency of 576 Hz. Needless to say, even the global version is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal memory. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports 68 W charging. The photo equipment is represented by a front 60 MPix camera and a main camera with two 50 MPix sensors and one 2 MPix sensor. The operating system is Android 12 with the My UI extension.
