Expected parameters of the planned Vivo X80 series

The Vivo brand is no longer just an obscure Chinese manufacturer for our people, because their phones have already caught on in our market. Although the Vivo X60 Pro is the highest-selling model in our country, we may sometimes see something newer. The X70 series models have been successfully scoring points in the world for some time now, and it is slowly beginning to talk about the successor generation. We'll wait a few more months for the Vivo X80, but it might be worth it. We should look forward to three models covering the entire spectrum of the upper middle and high-end categories.

VIVO X80

The basic Vivo X80 is set on a 6.56-inch LTPO AMOLED display with FullHD + resolution and a 120 Hz diagonal. The Mediatek Dimensity 8000 will probably be used as a processor, of course with a good portion of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 internal memory. The triple rear camera should have a 50 Mpx Samsung GN5 + 13 Mpx + 12 Mpx Sony IMX663 with 2x optical zoom. To this we can add another 44 Mpx selfie camera with autofocus. The battery with an unknown capacity should then be able to 55W fast-charging.

VIVO X80 PRO

The more equipped little brother will then enlarge the display to 6.78-inches and should be an LTPO 2.0 E5 AMOLED with FullHD + and 120 Hz. The performance of the processor will also increase thanks to the Dimensity 9000 and the use of LPDDR5 RAM will definitely help. The photo equipment is also a step further with a pair of 50 Mpx + 50 Mpx Samsung JN1 and 12 Mpx Sony IMX663 with 2x optical zoom. The same is a 44 Mpx selfie camera, but the charging will increase to 66W classic and 50W wireless will be added.

VIVO X80 PRO +

Well, the highest model will no longer take napkins at all. The display will be the same as the Pro variant, only it will get QHD + resolution. And with the chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will be trusted. Photo equipment is dizzying on paper, as the 50 Mpx main sensor sf / 1.3 and OIS complement the 48 Mpx Sony IMX598, 50 Mpx Samsung JN1 2x zoom and 50 Mpx Samsung JN1 OIS 5x zoom. Alternatively, a 50 Mpx selfie sensor. This is really a real power that will help the V1 chip itself for image processing. And we can also add a durable IP68 certification to the list of conveniences. We just don't want to see the price…
