The Moto Edge X30 will have a version with a camera under the display

It's no secret that it will be the Moto Edge X30, which Motorola will introduce to the Chinese market at 7.30pm there. However, this phone will not be alone on the presentation, the Moto Edge S30 model with a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor will also have its premiere. In addition, we may be surprised by another, because at the beginning of the month, the tipsters announced that Motorola could also introduce a phone with a camera under the display.
A few days ago, however, the tipsters had no idea what phone with the camera under the display it would be. The head of Lenovo's mobile division solved this mystery yesterday when he announced to Weibo that the Moto Edge X30 would be introduced in two versions, one of which has a camera stored under the display. He emphasized in particular that this would be the world's first under-screen camera with a Snapdragon 8 series processor.
He also added that the resolution of the camera below the display is 60 MPix and shared a photo of this special version of the Moto Edge X30. The photo clearly shows that there is no cutout or "hole" in the display for the front camera and the frames around the screen are very narrow, including the chin. However, we do not know the exact specifications of this version. But they are likely to be the same as the "classic" Edge X30. If so, this version also includes a 6.67-inch OLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate and fingerprint sensor. Then the main camera with two 50 MPix sensors and one 2 MPix sensor. Up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage are expected. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports 68 W charging. The operating system can be Android 12 with My UX 3.0.
