And according to him, it would come as no surprise if big brands would prefer this piece for high-end models next year. And for Mediatek, it must sound like heavenly music, because although Dimensity 9000 looks great on paper, it is still automatically considered an outsider by many.
The two main cocks in the dump are very similar in architecture. They use three clusters of differently powerful cores (1 + 3 + 4) and of course they are built on a 4 nm production process. The difference is the origin, because Dimensity 9000 uses 4 nm from TSMC, while Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 bets at 4 nm from Samsung.
