Oppo A55s introduced with Snapdragon 480 processor
Oppo is launching a new phone that is inexpensive and supports 5G networks. Its trade name is Oppo A55s and the manufacturer has officially introduced it to the Japanese market. It is said to be a bit of a rarity, because this machine has some of the parameters that we will not find in any such cheap Oppo phone, which is already sold globally. This is, for example, IP68 certification. But let's look at other specifications as well.
The look of the Oppo A55s is basically classic. Narrow frames around the screen, a slightly wider chin and a "hole" for the front camera in the upper left corner, that's what the front panel looks like. The rear panel is dominated by the rectangular module of the main camera. The display itself is of the LCD type, has a diagonal of 6.5 inches and FullHD + resolution. The refresh rate is 90 Hz and the sampling frequency is 180 Hz.
The manufacturer Snapdragon 480 was chosen as the processor for this phone. It is a cheap chipset with 5G support, which is perfect for cheaper phones that require 5G. But it also has the most advanced features of the SD400 series. In the case of the Oppo A55s, it has been supplemented with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded. The battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh and charging support with an output of 18 W. Connectivity is represented by 5G, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, USB-C and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The operating system is Android 11 with the ColorOS 11 extension.
The front camera has 8 MPix and is also designed for video calls. The main camera consists of two sensors. The first one has 13 MPix and a luminosity of f / 2.2. The second, 2 MPix sensor, is used to record the depth of field. Camera modes include Ultra Night Mode, Portrait Mode and AI support. In the Japanese market, the phone goes on sale in two colors, namely green and black. Pre-orders are already running and sales start on November 26 / November. The price is set at 33800 Japanese yen, which is about $ 295. After the Japanese market, the phone is to reach other Asian markets.
