Vivo has officially confirmed that OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, is coming soon with major system improvements and a redesigned interface. The global launch event is scheduled for October 15, and soon after, eligible Vivo and iQOO smartphones will begin receiving the update. Vivo’s X Series phones usually receive three major Android updates, with newer models like the Vivo X200 lineup promised up to four OS versions. If your device shipped with Android 13 or newer, it’s likely on the list.
