If you're the proud owner of one of the Honor 200 series phones or the Honor Magic V3 folding model, we've got great news for you. Honor has officially announced a new feature in collaboration with Google – the Circle to Search function, now available for these phones.
While the Circle to Search feature isn't entirely new, it is for the Honor 200 series and the Magic V3 phones. This functionality allows users to quickly access and search for information simply by "drawing" a circle on the display. Originally introduced on Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series, this feature has since been included on Google’s Pixel devices and the Xiaomi 14T series.
In their press release, Honor highlighted the significant role Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays in shaping the future of their devices. The company considers AI as a cornerstone for future advancements and has been investing heavily in its research and development. Earlier this year, Honor introduced its four-layer AI architecture to encourage broader AI adoption. This architecture merges device-based AI with cloud capabilities for enhanced security through Honor's personal cloud computing services.
The Magic V3 foldable phone comes packed with advanced AI-driven features such as AI Eraser, Face to Face Translation, and HONOR Notes. The phone also includes AI Defocus Eye Protection and AI Deepfake Detection, both part of the Magic OS 8.0.1 superstructure, which enhances the overall user experience.
The Circle to Search feature is now available on the Magic V3, and it will be rolled out to the Honor 200 series phones shortly. To use this new feature, users will need to install the latest software update on their Honor device.
