Realme Note 60: Affordable Entry-Level Smartphone Launched in Indonesia

The Realme Note series has expanded with the release of its second model, the Realme Note 60. Announced at the end of last month, this budget-friendly smartphone made its debut in Indonesia, offering a simple design and entry-level features.

Realme Note 60 Main Specifications

The Realme Note 60 boasts a design that matches its price point. Both the front and back panels are flat, with the rear panel featuring a rectangular main camera module. This module houses two sensor rings and an LED flash. The display is surrounded by narrow bezels, with a slightly wider chin and a small teardrop notch for the front camera.

The phone is equipped with a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display offering a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The display supports a 180 Hz sampling rate and has a maximum brightness of 560 nits, ensuring decent visibility.

Under the hood, the Realme Note 60 is powered by the Unisoc T612 processor paired with the Mali-G57 GPU. It comes in various configurations, including 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card, providing ample space for your data.

Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, USB-C, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is conveniently located on the edge of the device, and the phone is IP64 certified for dust and water resistance.

The phone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, which provides decent battery life. However, it only supports 10 W charging, so you may need to wait a bit longer for a full charge. The camera setup is modest, with a 32 MP primary sensor on the main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary unspecified auxiliary lens, likely a QVGA sensor. The front camera features a 5 MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

The Realme Note 60 is available in Marble Black and Voyager Blue colors. Sales have already begun on the manufacturer's Indonesian website, with availability in other markets to follow soon. The pricing for the different memory variants is as follows:

• 4GB/64GB - IDR 1,399,000 ($90)
• 6GB/128GB - IDR 1,599,000 ($103)
• 8GB/256GB - IDR 1,999,000 ($129)
