Apple iPhone 16 Unveiling Event Set for September 9

Apple has officially announced that it will be hosting a special event on September 9, 2024, to unveil the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series. The company sent out media invites today, with the tagline “It's Glowtime” setting the stage for what promises to be a spectacular launch.

Event Details

The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park, beginning at 10 AM local time (PDT). For those tuning in from different regions, that's 5 PM UTC, 1 PM in New York, 6 PM in London, 7 PM in Paris and Berlin, and 10:30 PM in India.

What to Expect

In addition to the new iPhone 16 models, Apple is also expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 10, also rumored to be called the Apple Watch X, as well as updated AirPods. This event could mark significant upgrades across Apple's product lineup, particularly with new features and design changes anticipated for the iPhone 16 family.

Pre-orders and Release Date

According to the latest reports, pre-orders for all the devices unveiled at the event should go live shortly after the event concludes, likely within an hour or two. The first wave of product releases is expected to hit stores on September 20, 2024.
