Motorola has once again expanded its popular Moto G series with the introduction of the new Moto G45. This smartphone has made its debut in the Indian market, offering vibrant color options, a faux leather back, and an extremely affordable price tag. Despite being budget-friendly, the Moto G45 doesn’t compromise on specifications, making it a solid choice for those seeking value without sacrificing quality. Main Specifications of the Moto G45 Phone

The Moto G45 features a premium look despite its budget price. The design adheres to Motorola’s established aesthetic, but the addition of a faux leather back panel and striking color options elevates its appeal. The back houses a small rectangular camera module with two sensor rings and an LED flash in the upper left corner. The phone’s display is bordered by narrow bezels, with a slightly wider chin at the bottom. A centered punch-hole at the top of the screen accommodates the front camera.

The Moto G45 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The aspect ratio is 20:9, and the brightness reaches up to 500 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, ensuring durability. Under the hood, the Moto G45 is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen3 processor, built on a 6nm process. It comes with either 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1 TB via microSD. Additionally, the device offers 8 GB of virtual RAM. Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is conveniently placed on the device's edge, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio provide an enhanced audio experience. The phone also boasts IP52 certification for dust and water resistance.

The Moto G45 is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, supporting 18 W fast charging, with a 20 W charger included in the box. It runs on Android 14 with the My UX interface, and Motorola has committed to an update to Android 15 and three years of security patches. The camera setup includes a dual-camera system on the back, featuring a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is a 16 MP shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Moto G45 will be available in India in Brilliant Blue, Brilliant Green, and Viva Magenta—Pantone's color of the year 2023. The 4GB/128GB variant is priced at INR 10,999 ($131), while the 8GB/128GB variant will cost INR 12,999 ($155). Sales will commence on August 28.
